Basic Information

Registration

The congress is free of charge and open to all regardless of whether they are members of EBHA or BHSJ. However, all participants, including presenters, chairs and discussants, are required to register in advance. To register, please use this link.

Once you register, you will receive the congress program and zoom links (to access the meeting, please see below).

Zoom application

The congress will be held online via Zoom. Participants are not required to have a Zoom account and can participate as a guest. However, you have to install the application version of Zoom on your PC or other devices in advance.

Presentation materials

You can download papers from the WCBH Web Application between August 20 and September 20, 2021.

To access papers, you must log in with the password in an email sent from the Program Committee on August 30 or 31 (the email’s subject line is “WCBH 2021: Access to Zoom links & Wonder.me; Congress Guidelines”).

To presenters: please upload a full or draft paper to the congress website by August 20, 2021 (for further details).

Access to sessions

Individual Zoom links will be integrated into the program. To access the program with the included Zoom-Links you will need to register https://ebha.org/public/C10.

Those who have already registered for the congress should have received an email from the Program Committee on August 30 or 31, with a subject link “WCBH 2021: Access to Zoom links & Wonder.me; Congress Guidelines.” Please see the email to access a session.

During a session

Please indicate your Zoom username (display name) as explained in “Session Guidelines.”

How to ask questions: please see “Session Guidelines.”

Since the live transcription feature of Zoom causes a severe burden to the administrators' computers, we have decided to remove the option to show subtitle/ caption lines during the presentation.

Online socialization

For informal discussion and personal exchange with other congress participants, you are welcome to use the online communication platform Wonder.me.

The Wonder.me room will be open during the entire congress as follows (in parallel to presentation sessions).

  • September 9: 7:00am to 16:55 (CET)
  • September 10 and 11: 6:00am to 17:10 (CET)

 

How to access Wonder Me Room?

Please use the link and password in the email sent from the Program Committee on August 30 or 31 (the email subject line is “WCBH 2021: Access to Zoom links & Wonder.me; Congress Guidelines.”). Once you are in Room, you can freely move your icon (avatar) and talk with anyone in Room.

Please note:

  • Wonder Me does not function on tablets or mobile devices (i.e. iPads, iPhones, or other similar devices). Please use PC or Mac computers.
  • It is optimized exclusively for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
